FRIDAY, NOV. 29

It’s the day after Thanksgiving. Yesterday, you sat at a long table with your family, maybe your in-laws, grinding your teeth, twiddling your thumbs, trying, for the life of you not to interject when your uncle said, for the second time, something about something, though he’d been specifically asked not to, as he sat in the warm colored hat he refused to take off upon entering your mother’s humble abode.

So, now you have an ax to grind, or, throw, along with some steam to blow off. It just so happens, Trademark Brewing is bringing in Hard Axes to host an ax throwing event today, Friday, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. where, for $20, you can throw some axes at designated targets. The entirety of the event, which runs from noon to close, also includes corn hole, an outdoor beer garden, food trucks, and more.

Another great thing: Jason Mamoa throwing axes for charity.

Giving us a moment’s pause: Jason Mamoa throwing axes for charity with his shirt (almost) off and hair down. He’s Aquaman, you know.

Trademark Brewing is located at 233 E. Anaheim St. Cost is $20 per person, the minimum age is 12. For more info, check out Trademark’s Facebook event.
