The 2nd City Council Art Gallery + Performance Space is hosting an artists’ reception on Saturday, September 27th, from 7 to 9 PM. The new jurored exhibition, titled ‘Visual Literacy’, features works by nearly 40 artists “that incorporate letters, words or text; makes literary references or tells a visual story.”
The show will be up until October 15th, and available for viewing during normal gallery hours, which are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 – 5 PM. The gallery is located at 435 Alamitos Avenue, which is just South of 5th Street.
