Yesterday evening, a tragic dispute between a stepfather and his stepson resulted in the death of 37-year-old Rogelio Aguirre-Lopez.
Lopez, a resident of Compton, was pronounced dead at the scene near 69th Street and Long beach Boulevard. His stepson, 19-year-old Joel Torres of Long Beach, was arrested at a nearby apartment complex and later booked for murder; he is currently being held on a $1 million bail.
