Two men were injured in separate shootings in Long Beach Saturday night and early Sunday morning, police said.

The first shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday at the 5500 block of Dairy Avenue in North Long Beach, when one or multiple shooters fired at a man parked in front of a home inside his vehicle, authorities said.

Long Beach fire personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, authorities said.

The attackers involved fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.

Another man was shot in his lower body on Sunday around 3:19 a.m. at the 200 block of West Anaheim Street, police said.

The Long Beach Fire Department transported the man to a local hospital, police said, but he was uncooperative in providing any further details of the incident, police said.

Both victims are expected to survive.

These investigations are ongoing, authorities said.
