Huntington Beach Mayor and current 46th Congressional District candidate Debbie Cook is gearing up for a run at the June 3rd primary, and has expanded her campaign by opening a new headquarters at 17308 Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach.

The 46th District is bordered by Costa Mesa to the south and Palos Verdes to the north, and includes parts of Long Beach.  Cook faces competition in the June primary from fellow Democrat Dan Kalmick.  If she wins in June, incumbent Dana Rohrabacher will likely be waiting for her in the November general election.

“I am looking forward to using the office here in Huntington Beach as a staging area for getting our message out to voters,” Cook said in a release.  “We’ll be working the phones and pounding the pavement to spread our message of fiscal responsibility in government, healing our economy, creating ‘green’ jobs and bringing our troops home from Iraq.”
