It’s been three long years, but Long Beach’s famed Bixby Park band shell is finally back.  The restoration of the landmark has been a top priority of City Councilwoman Suja Lowenthal and the Long Beach Historical Society.

The event was attended by hundreds of visitors and was marked by a celebration which included a barbeque, live music, dance performances and classic cars.  The longtime community staple hosted picnickers and city leaders just as it had for decades before the accident.
