The North Pine Neighborhood Alliance will hold its second monthly live music event this Sunday at Smooth’s Sports Grille, featuring jazz and blues from ten-piece band Slippers, Snowmen and others.  The event is $5 to attend and will begin at 5:00pm.

The NPNA aims to provide top quality music at a reasonable price, hoping to draw top talent from around the Southland and eventually hold the events weekly.

“The purpose of it all is for the community,” says Cynthia Ojeda, VP of Community Projects for the NPNA.  “There’s a lot of great local talent here and we really want to tap into that.”
