An abandoned two-story Victorian house caught fire again on Long Beach Boulevard near Downtown on early Sunday morning, according to the Long Beach Fire Department.

Firefighters were dispatched to the home at 928 Long Beach Blvd., near 10th Street, around 4 a.m. and at least a dozen firefighters extinguished the first-alarm fire, LBFD spokesman Capt. Jake Heflin said. Long Beach police also assisted with traffic control during the fire, he added.

No injuries were reported, he said.

A fire investigator was sent to inspect the cause of the fire, according to Heflin.

This is the fourth time the structure has caught fire in the last four years. It also drew a heavy fire response after a blaze in October, and previously in March, and caught fire in 2018.
