A celebration of art, music, culture, history, legacy and opportunity came to the Expo Arts Center for a unique, multicultural, inter-generational, community-wide, educational kickoff to Black History Month.

It was the Seventh Annual Los Angeles County Caribbean Heritage: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow—A Black History Month Event in Long Beach.

The Expo Arts Center was filled with smiling faces along with the music of Marvin Burnett on the steel drum. Marvin sang songs and played on the steel drum for about 30 minutes. Right outside, two men painted freely.
