windesaccountinglogoThe Los Angeles Business Journal recently named the Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corporation as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles County for the fifth year in a row.

A leading Southern California accounting and consulting firm that has been around for 86 years, Windes & McClaughry has also won this award for the past five consecutive years.

Workplaces in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual rankings are judged both on employer-specified traits and benefits as well as employee-surveyed engagement and satisfaction. Data sets compiled by a survey-administering group are then analyzed to determine the rankings.

“We are grateful to receive this award. It is a confirmation that we are upholding our commitment to valuing people first, which is one of the core six values of the firm,” said Windes & McClaughry Managing Partner John Di Carlo in a statement. “It’s the people in the firm who make it such a great environment in which to work. The firm’s partners are honored to be working alongside such talented and caring people.”

With four offices located in Los Angeles, Irvine, Torrance and Long Beach, Windes & McClaughry has over 140 employees and 17 partners. The firm focuses on nonprofit organizations, high net-worth individuals, qualified retirement plans and both private and publicly held businesses. The services the firm provides include employee benefits, estate and trust planning, compliance, consulting, cost segregation, human resources consulting and recruiting and tax planning.

In addition to being named one of the best places to work in Los Angeles, Windes & McClaughry has also been named one of the best places to work in Orange County by The Orange County Business Journal and was named one of the best accounting firms to work for in the country by Accounting Today.
