A 61 year-old female died from her injuries Friday night after being hit by a minivan while crossing Pacific Ave. just south of 25th St.
The victim was not in a crosswalk when she attempted to cross Pacific Ave. at approximately 8:08PM and was struck by a 1990 Plymouth Voyager heading southbound on the street. The driver of the minivan—a 51 year-old male from Long Beach—was questioned and released at the scene.
The identities of both the victim and the driver are not being released and it is undetermined if charges are pending.
