According to a recent release, Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corporation, a Southern California accounting and consulting firm with 86 years in business, announced that Tim Good was named treasurer of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), effectively serving a one-year term. Good was elected to this position at the organization’s recent annual members meeting held in Napa, California.
“Tim recently served two years as the vice-chair of CalCPA’s board, and this is another significant position for him, as he has earned the respect and confidence of his peers in the industry,” says John Di Carlo, managing partner of Windes & McClaughry. “We are pleased that Tim will continue Windes’ rich tradition of service to our profession.”
Good is a partner in the firm’s Tax and Accounting Services department, holding a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and masters in taxation from Golden Gate University. His practice focuses on the tax, business, and strategic issues facing privately owned companies and their owners, with clients that are involved in real estate, manufacturing, technology, and international trade.
In addition to Good’s service as an officer of CalCPA, he served as the president of CalCPA’s Los Angeles chapter. Good is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is active with South Bay Special Olympics and the University of California Alumni Association. He is a resident of Palos Verdes Estates.
