Given rapidly changing workplace initiatives, legal landscapes, and workplace culture are an integral part of the human resources function, the Essentials of Human Resources Management Certificate Program hosted at the Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership (LBNP) provides the knowledge and practical skills for human resources administration and management.

According to a release from the LBNP, whether you are a full-time HR professional or someone who has a combined responsibility for human resources, the responsibilities are the same. This 6-session certificate program will focus on real-life situations that are found in organization’s today.

The HR Certificate program is designed to stand-alone or to work in a complete series that will have the attendees walk away with a marketing plan that they can put to use right away. Workshops will take place every Thursday from June 28th through August 2nd from 2pm to 5pm the LBNP Office in Long Beach. The instructor for the program is Ms. Anne Laguzza, MA, is founder and president of The Works Consulting. Anne has nearly 20 years experience in human resources management, leadership and organizational development. She is an accomplished facilitator and trainer with an infectious enthusiasm.

The cost of the entire series is $275 for LBNP Members and $375 for Not-Yet-Members. Sessions can be taken individually for $50 for Members and $70 for Not-Yet-Members.
