Millworks, the development company behind the reimagining of the historic Press-Telegram and Meeker Baker Buildings along Pine Avenue, have officially unveiled their plans for phase two of the project.
Focused on the Meeker Baker building at 650 Pine, which was constructed in 1924 and is characterized by its Renaissance-style that was popular in Long Beach during the 20s, the development retains the original decorative brick and tile work while expanding with a contemporary office space set behind it. It is expected to be completed by Fall of 2014.
The entire Meeker Baker development will create 122,184 sq ft of office space while the retrofitted Press-Telegram Building will create 84,702 sq ft of development and is expected to be complete this summer.
