Simeon Yarbrough of the CHP said the collision occurred at around 7:15AM and involved a man driving an older model of a Chevy Camaro.
“The Camaro entered the intersection at Harding Street and Lemon Avenue and didn’t see a school bus,” Yarbrough said.
The Camaro then collided with the school bus, hitting the left side of the bus, then traveling “out of control” in a “northwesterly direction” and hitting the condo at the intersection, according to Yarbrough.
The one person inhabiting the condo, children on the school bus and Camaro occupants were apparently uninjured. Nobody was transported to the hospital, although two children complained of pain.
“Everything right now is under investigation,” said Yarbrough.
No additional information was available at this time. The Post will update this report as the situation develops.
