2:50pm | The collective neighborhoods of Craftsman Village, North Alamitos Beach, and Rose Park, along with their East 7th Street retailers, will once again celebrate shared history this upcoming Tuesday, November 29, at Rivera’s Mexican Restaurant. A 1.5 mile square area that includes these neighborhoods was annexed to the City of Long Beach on November 29, 1909, making the area 102-years-old.

Organizers ask citizens of the community to joing them at Rivera’s from 7:00pm-9:00pm for a look-back at what we’ve accomplished this year and plans for next year. There will be a display of the major intersections along East 7th and what can be done to improve them, as well as an update of the East 7th Street History Project.

Residents of Rose Park, Craftsman Village, and North Alamitos Beach, East 7th Street retailers, and those who have left East 7th Street but still hold fond memories are encouraged to come. There is a $10 buffet for those who’d like dinner (alcoholic beverages extra).
