The Rainbow Harbor area of downtown Long Beach is going all out for the holidays, with exciting upcoming events at the Pike, Shoreline Village, and Aquarium of the Pacific.

Beginning this Friday, the Aquarium of the Pacific will host Shark Lagoon Nights with free admission from 6:00pm – 9:00pm every Friday.  There are over 150 sharks and rays that are safe to touch at the exhibit, as well as the Sand Tigers, Nurses, and Whitetips that are not safe to touch.

On Saturday the 8th, Shoreline Village’s famous Marina Parade of a Thousand Lights Boat Parade will be held, bringing out the most creative and flashy decorative boat displays around in this aquatic Rose Parade.  Head back to Shoreline Village this Sunday for Snow Day, when 15 tons of snow will be brought in.  It might be the closest that Long Beach ever gets to a snowy holiday, so grab that sled, or toboggan (they’re faster).
