Senator Alan Lowenthal and Mayor Bob Foster hosted the 10th annual Holiday Cheer Wine Tasting and Auction over the weekend to benefit Children Today, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children experiencing homelessness. Guests enjoyed a wine tasting and silent auction for the good cause.
All of the $110 ticket fees were donated to the Play House West, Children Today’s child care and preschool facility which serves infants through preschool age children in homeless families, as well as a new child care and preschool program that will open in 2008.
