The 3rd Annual Icon Awards will be held at the Center Long Beach next Wednesday, July 23, from 6:00pm-8:00pm, honoring Patty Moore and Michael Noll for their support of the LBGT community and their commitment to fight HIV and AIDS.
“It is really important to stop, reflect and give thanks to those who have paved the way before us,” said Kimberlee Woods, Executive Director of The Center, which specializes in outreach and assistance for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and has operated since 1977, today serving over 21,000 people per year.
Community leaders will stop by to honor the recipients, and hors d’oeuvers will be provided by Small Potatoes Catering. RSVP are required and can be given at (562) 434-4455. No admission is required.
