2:01pm | A downtown Long Beach public charter middle school has announced it will hold an open house this Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The open house is open to the community and will feature tours of the campus and visits to the classrooms for families with children enrolling in sixth, seventh or eighth grades. The school is located at 620 Olive Ave., though the entrance is located on Sixth Street between Olive and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
The school is on the smaller side with a maximum enrollment of 180 students, and seats are currently available in all grades, according to information provide by school spokeswoman Daphne Ching-Jackson.
She said Constellation focuses on “the whole child’s education” and emphasizes a strong character education program as well as a rigorous academic program focusing on math and language arts.
