Chelsea Clinton, daughter of presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, will lead a youth movement rally on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills today, February 1, as part of the Clinton campaign’s young voter outreach effort. The event will begin at 9:30am, outside the Loker Student Union’s Palm Courtyard.
Joining her will be actors America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Erika Alexander and Simon Woods, along with Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-Carson) and Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D-Garden Grove).
Clinton has been visiting a number of universities in the last several weeks to campaign for her mother, but also to stress the importance of voting in the upcoming presidential election to students. Young voters are expected to play a particularly important role in determining the next president.
Parking is free, and lots 3 and 6 are nearest the student union.
