Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia, Second District Councilmember Jeannine Pearce and the Long Beach Convention and Visitor’s Bureau have teamed up to host a movie in celebration of the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball kicking off on Alamitos Beach this week.
With the event kicking off today, the movie, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will screen Wednesday at 8:00PM at the Long Beach Terrace Theater Plaza with music, food trucks, free popcorn and guests, according to an announcement issued by Garcia yesterday. At 6:30PM, additional music, food trucks, free popcorn and special guests will also be on hand to entertain the masses.
“We’re thrilled to host the World Series of Volleyball and look forward to celebrating with everyone Wednesday night!” said Garcia in a statement.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs to watch the movie, and parking will be free in the Convention Center garage, according to the release.
