City of Long Beach offices and services will adhere to the following schedule during the 2013 Thanksgiving Holiday:

  • Trash and recyclables will be collected as normal on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29.
  • There will be no street sweeping or enforcement of street sweeping violations on Thursday, November 28, andFriday, November 29. 
  • There will be no parking enforcement on meters or time zones for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 28, where holidays are exempted. Please note: Some meters are enforced 365 days per year. Parking enforcement and all infractions, including time zones, will be enforced as usual on Friday, November 29. Days and hours of enforcement are posted inside the meters.
