Community Hospital Long Beach is partnering with the city library system to offer a free two-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library on Wednesday, April 28, and Thursday, April 29.

The hospital will also hold an on-site clinic at the hospital on Friday, April 30.

All of the clinics will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with appointments encouraged. Appointments can be scheduled at https://myturn.ca.gov.

The Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the clinics, with second dose appointments scheduled on site. All vaccines are provided free of charge.

“Although Long Beach has now vaccinated over 50% of our eligible adults, we still have work to do to remove barriers and improve access to everyone in our community,” Councilman Rex Richardson said in a statement. “I am excited to partner with Community Hospital to bring an additional clinic to Uptown.”

Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library is located at 5870 Atlantic Ave. Community Hospital Long Beach is located at 1720 Termino Ave.
