Councilwoman Price to Host LIVE SAFELY Event Next Week • Long Beach Post

Next Saturday, July 11, Councilwoman Suzie Price announced she will be hosting a “Live Safely” event, where residents can learn safety tips from industry professionals on topics ranging from keeping families and loved ones safe from property crimes to identity theft.

The event will take place at Recreation Park Community Center (4900 East Seventh Street), according to a release from her office.

“It’s important that people learn what they can do to better safeguard themselves,” Price said in a statement. “This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to hear from industry experts on the most effective crime fighting tips.”

The Long Beach Police Officers Association and Councilwoman Price will provide lunch to participants. The event will also contain information booths offering safety information resources to residents.
