A motorcyclist died in a collision involving a car in the Wrigley area of Long Beach Sunday.

The crash happened about 1:45 p.m. at Magnolia Avenue and 32nd Street, Long Beach police said.

Responding officers found a citizen performing CPR on the motorcyclist, who died at the scene, police said. The person’s age and gender were not immediately available.

According to police, a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a 2017 Honda Civic.

The 71-year-old woman driving the Civic stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police, the LBPD said.
