Four men were shot, one fatally, in Paramount today.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called at about 11:10 a.m. to the 13800 block of Paramount Boulevard, near the 105 Freeway, on reports of the shooting and found the victims down at the scene, according to LASD Deputy Veronica Rodriguez.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The name of the fatally wounded man was not released pending notification of relatives.
No suspect description was immediately available.
Events leading up to the shooting were under investigation, and anyone with information was asked to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
