A 23-year-old Long Beach man was arrested Tuesday for setting fire to a restaurant on the 200 block of E. Pacific Coast Highway on July 28, resulting in more than $250K in damage.

No one was injured in the fire.

The Long Beach Fire Department collaborated with the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD)’s Arson Task Force to identify Bryan Zueike of Long Beach as the arsonist, according to a statement from the LBPD. The case was presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, which issued an arrest warrant for arson and burglary charges.

Police located Zueike in the 700 block of Cherry Ave. on Tuesday and arrested the man. He is currently being held at the Long Beach Jail on $200K bail.
