A man who was fatally shot inside his Wrigley area home in Long Beach last week has been identified by authorities.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office said the man was 36-year-old Jamie Jones.

Police said Jones was inside his home in the 2200 block of Chestnut Avenue on Feb. 14 when someone shot him. Authorities have not yet released any details on a motive or what led up to the slaying.
Officers were notified of the shooting just after 2:30 a.m. and found Jones inside the home with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department. He was then transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
No arrests have been announced. The gunman, according to police, fled the area before officers arrived.
