Long Beach police say a person was found dead along the Los Angeles River underneath the 91 Freeway on Wednesday.
Officers responded to the area around 11:20 a.m. to assist firefighters already at the scene, according to Long Beach police.
When officers arrived, they found a “deceased individual,” police said.
A police spokesperson said no further details were immediately available.
