Composite Sketch Released of Signal Hill Bus Stop Groper • Long Beach Post

Long Beach police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly attacked and groped a female victim at a bus stop earlier this month.

signalhillgroperThe attack occurred around 4:30PM May 7 at a Long Beach Transit bus stop in the 900 block of Willow St., according to the Long Beach Police Department. The victim, a 26-year-old woman, was approached at the shelter by the suspect, who engaged her in a brief conversation before unexpectedly groping her breasts and buttocks. 

The subject is described as a black male with a medium skin complexion, 25 to 27 years-old, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds. He has fuzzy hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue basketball shorts and black socks.

Detectives are hoping someone will recognize the individual from the sketch and come forward. Anyone with information about the attack was urged to contact Long Beach police sex crimes Detective Patrick Jennings at (562) 570-7354.
