A Long Beach couple was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of manufacturing or selling counterfeit goods valued at $63,000, authorities said.
A search warrant served by the department Wednesday near the 5000 block of Pacific Avenue in North Long Beach’s Sutter neighborhood resulted in the seizure of counterfeit belts, purses and other clothing items, police said.
A tweet posted by the Long Beach Police Department Thursday afternoon showed the items that were taken during a search of the home as well as a loaded firearm.

Police said that 33-year-old Crystal Acosta Mendoza and 38-year-old Juan Francisco Mendozaramos, were both arrested on suspicion of manufacturing or selling counterfeit goods from their home. Mendoza was also booked for allegedly carrying the loaded gun.
Both Mendoza’s and Mendozaramos’ bail was set at $0 and they were released from custody on Wednesday, according to LBPD booking records.
