A driver who hit a man and severed his leg by pinning him against a railing at a Beverly Hills supermarket has been sentenced to two years in prison.

Twenty-four-year-old Jamika Abair of Long Beach was sentenced Wednesday after pleading no contest to assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury.

Abair reportedly got into yelling match with a man who complained of her littering in a Pavilions parking lot in May of 2017.

Video showed the driver circling the lot several times before the man apparently shoved shopping carts in front of it to stop the vehicle, which then lurched into him and pinned him against a railing.

Prosecutors say the man’s leg was severed below the knee.
