An East Long Beach business was a victim of a possible burglary Wednesday morning, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officials said today.

LBPD officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress at US Liquor on the 3100 block of Los Coyotes Diagonal at about 5:25AM, said LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona. Arriving officers found broken glass and searched the premises but were not able to find a suspect. Cash and merchandise was stolen from the store.

This commercial burglary is the second in about two weeks in East Long Beach, following a burglary at Graceful Teriyaki Grill & Roll, located at 4331 E. Carson St., on September 9.
