A former Hermosa Beach police officer pleaded no contest today to a misdemeanor count of soliciting prostitution.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Deborah Brazil immediately sentenced Todd Lewitt, 51, of Long Beach, to three years probation and ordered him to complete 52 sex offender counseling sessions.
Lewitt is also subject to search and seizure conditions, including electronic data and devices, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
He was initially charged last August with one felony count of meeting a minor for lewd purposes after making contact on a dating website with an undercover deputy with the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Human Trafficking Bureau, who was posing as a 16-year-old girl, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
