The student was leaving a women’s restroom near the Liberal Arts I building in upper campus on Thursday, July 20 when she saw a man walking toward the entrance to the restroom, officials stated.
“She told officers she was startled by the man—and that the man seemed startled by her,” the bulletin read. “She stated the man then used both of his hands to push her back by her shoulders.”
The man then allegedly walked away without ever saying anything about the incident and without further action. No injuries were reported, officials stated.
The student reported the incident the next day, after she said she thought it was “odd the male just walked away without going to the men’s restroom,” according to the bulletin.
The man is described as Hispanic and in his 40s with graying black hair, and 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He was wearing a dark gray shirt and black pants with black shoes at the time of the incident, the alert stated.
