When officers arrived they found the victim dead and with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to his upper torso.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Glen Chico of Long Beach.

The vehicle appeared to have driven off the roadway into ivy at slow speeds, Johnson said.
