A Long Beach man was found dead with multiple stab wounds to his upper body in a motorhome in the city’s Westside Friday night.
Authorities said family members discovered the body near Harbor Avenue and 15th Street and reported it to officers at 7:10 p.m.
The victim was identified as 41-year-old Hernan Cortez.
He was reportedly seen that morning between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., according to Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.
“Therefore, the incident must have occurred sometime between then and when he was found by family,” she said.
Officials do not know the motive for the killing, which remains under investigation.
