Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was stabbed to death in Inglewood, and continued their efforts to find his killer.

The stabbing was reported about 3:20 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Kelso Street, Inglewood police Sgt. Francisco Ruiz said.

Levester Peterson, 39, of Long Beach, died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported.

Peterson was found on the sidewalk suffering from multiple stab wounds, Ruiz said.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect information was available, police said.
