Long Beach Police Investigating Sunday Night Shooting

Long Beach police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that left a man in critical condition near East Seventh Street and Walnut Avenue, Long Beach Police Department officials said.

According to authorities, at 10:15PM on Sunday, June 7, officers were dispatched to the area regarding a report of a male adult with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing.
