UPDATE | On Wednesday, the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) arrested the man suspected of stabbing 21-year-old Junior Jimenez of Los Angeles in a brawl that took place in Long Beach on Tuesday, they announced today. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed murder and weapons charges against the man this morning.
According to a release issued this afternoon, police arrested 50-year-old Enrique Pina Carrillo of Long Beach on the 800 block of East Pacific Coast Highway at 8:19PM Wednesday evening, following clues related to the fight that allowed them to identify Carrillo and track him down.
Police are still investigating the motive, but they believe Carrillo and Jimenez were associates, the release said.
Carrillo is being held at the Long Beach jail on $1 million bail.

08/20/15 at 10:07AM | A young man who died early Wednesday morning from injuries sustained during a Tuesday night fight in Long Beach has been identified as Junior Jimenez.
The 22-year-old victim—whose place of residence is unknown—was pronounced dead at 4:50AM on Wednesday, August 19, said Coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
According to Winter, Jimenez was struck by a bottle and subsequently stabbed multiple times with broken pieces from the bottle during the brawl with another man.

8/19/2015 at 2:57PM | A young man who was hit with a bottle during a Tuesday night fight in Long Beach died from his injuries early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD), officers responded to reports of a battery incident on Tuesday, August 18, at 9:11PM, on the 1100 block of East Tenth Street.
Arriving police learned a man was struck with a bottle during a fight with another man, according to a press release.
The victim, in his 20s, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and later died of his injuries at 3:00AM on Wednesday.
The victim’s identity is being withheld, pending notification of his relatives, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.
The motive for the fight is still under investigation, officials said.
