A man was injured after a shooting in Long Beach’s Poly High neighborhood Tuesday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Lime Avenue at about 8:35PM on Tuesday, February 2 regarding a shooting call, LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

Authorities said an adult male victim sustained a gunshot injury and transported himself to a local hospital before officers arrived. The injury appeared to be non-life threatening.

The investigation remains ongoing.
