A man was wounded in a shooting down the street from Douglas Park Saturday after an argument with another driver, police said.

Police said they were alerted to the incident in the 3300 block of Cover Street shortly before 10 a.m. First-responders at the scene treated a man with a gunshot wound to the lower body, police said. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, according to police.

The victim told officers that he got into an argument with another man in front of a business located on the 3300 block of Cover Street, police said.

After the argument, both men drove away, but a second dispute between the two took place down the street from Douglas Park near 3301 Cover Street, where the suspect shot the man, according to the LBPD.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not reported any arrests.
