Long Beach police say a man was shot to death in his home in the Wrigley neighborhood, and they’re looking for the killer who is still at large.
It’s not yet clear what led up to the slaying, police said, but the man was inside his home in the 2200 block of Chestnut Avenue when someone shot him early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the man’s home just after 2:30 a.m. and gave him first aid, police said. Long Beach Fire Department personnel then transported him to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, they added.
The man’s identity was not immediately revealed as the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office works to notify his relatives, police said.
No suspect information was available. The shooter fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.
