A man was shot and wounded early today in Cambodia Town, according to Long Beach police, but few details were immediately available.
A witness called police about 12:45 a.m. to report hearing gunshots at Anaheim Street and Walnut Avenue, said Long Beach police Lt. Greg Brown.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body, Brown said.
Paramedics took him to a hospital where his vital signs were stable, the lieutenant said.
No suspect information was available, Brown said. Investigators were canvassing the area in search of witnesses.
