Long Beach police are investigating after four to six men wearing masks forced their way into an occupied Lakewood Village home and robbed it shortly before 8:40 p.m. on May 1.

At least one of the men had a gun, authorities said.

The men took various items, including jewelry and handbags from the two women, LBPD spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.

Police found evidence of forced entry into the home on the 4400 block of Heather Road, near Centralia Street.

“No contact was made between the suspects and victims during the incident,” De Prez said, and no injuries were reported.
