A man was wounded during a possibly gang-related shooting in North Long Beach Monday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a hit shooting on the 100 block of Gordon Street at 8:49PM on Monday, May 30, said Sgt. Brad Johnson of the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

A man with a gunshot wound to the upper torso was located by arriving officers, Johnson said. Long Beach paramedics transported him to a local hospital in stable condition, he added.

Authorities identified the suspect only as an adult male who is still outstanding.

The incident is being investigated as possibly gang-related, Johnson said.
