Police investigating Downtown shooting that hit two parked cars

Police have not identified any victims or suspects in a shooting that hit two parked cars outside of Long Beach Cafe in Downtown shortly before 1 p.m., Friday.

Police arrived at the scene and “located evidence that a shooting had just occurred,” police spokeswoman Shaunna Dandoy said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what that evidence was, but the initial investigation found that the gunfire hit two parked cars.

The investigation is still ongoing, Dandoy said.

Police couldn’t immediately provide any more information.
