Long Beach police are investigating a shooting Friday morning near the 1100 block of East Fourth Street that did not appear to leave any injuries, authorities said.

At 9:23AM, officers were dispatched to a call of shots heard in the area and were able to locate evidence of a shooting, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Megan Zabel said. 

The investigation is ongoing, she said.
