A man was found stabbed on a North Long Beach sidewalk Saturday afternoon, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Long Beach Boulevard at about 3:45PM on Saturday, August 15, to investigate a stabbing, LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

Authorities found the adult male, described as Hispanic, on the sidewalk and Long Beach paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital.

The injury appeared to be non-life threatening, Arrona said.

The investigation is ongoing and no suspect information is available at this time.
